Curiosity has been a constant.

I'm a communications strategist who enjoys getting close enough to complicated ideas to help other people understand them.

My career has moved through congressional communications, public affairs, media relations, audience development, professional education, and, more recently, applied generative AI. Some of my work involves public-policy questions with real consequences. Some involves finding inventive ways to make people smile and come back for the next installment.

I value clarity, editorial judgment, useful experimentation, and the opportunity to learn from people who know things I don't.
